Intel Core 2 Duo processors see a cut of 31 percent


The Intel Core 2 Duo processors have had their prices slashed down by 31 percent. The processors with reduced prices are the desktop Core 2 Duo E8500(3.16GHz), quad-core Q6600 and E7200 and others.

The Core 2 Duo E8500 that earlier was sold for $266 will be sold for $183 now.

The quad-core Q6600 that was priced at $224 has dropped to $193, a 14 percent cut. The E7200 will be now selling from $133 to $113.


The Intel’s Xeon line’s has also seen a drop in the price. The X3220 (2.4 GHz) will now be available at $198 from $224 that is a 12 percent cut. The X3210 (2.13GHz) too has seen a 12 percent cut.

The E3110 (3GHz) will now be available at $167 from $188, a drop of 11 percent.
